Governor Rick Scott’s Inspector General obtained prescription drugs by fraud

DAVID records reveal FDLE and Miami Beach Police Department linked to state sponsored kidnapping plot of Georgia’s doctor’s son

by Timothy Charles Holmseth

The client list from a Tallahassee pill-mill busted in 2009 reveals high level employees within the Florida government used a Georgia doctor’s DEA license without his knowledge to obtain pharmaceuticals by fraud.

One of the names on the client list is Melinda Miguel, chief inspector general, Office of Governor Rick Scott.

The list, which also contains the names of a judge, United States attorney, state’s attorney’s, FDLE, capital police, law enforcement officers, public health officials, court officers, correction officers, county commissioners, state representatives, and department of motor vehicle employees, appears to be the foundation for a government sponsored kidnapping plot.

In 2009, Dr. Mark Hash, Georgia, was a physician at First Impressions weight loss clinic, Tallahassee. He was charged by the FDLE with dispensing pharmaceuticals with no medical necessity. The felony charges were subsequently dropped due to lack of evidence, which resulted in a lawsuit by Dr. Hash against the FDLE.

The Hash family became the target of an organized terror campaign, with clear ties to the Tallahassee Police Department, and a plot to abduct his youngest son, Alec.

THE PLOT TO KIDNAP ALEC THOMAS HASH

DAVID records obtained by Write Into Action reveal Sherry L. Adlinger, a crime analyst with the Florida Computer Crime Center at the FDLE, requested the records of Alec Hash in January and February, 2013.

At the time of the FDLE DAVID search by Adlinger, Alec Hash, an Eagle Scout, was a regular kid with no criminal record attending high school in Northern Florida. Why the FDLE ran the boy’s name is not known.

In May of 2013, Alec Hash, (then 16), traveled to Missouri and married his girlfriend to become emancipated, thus escaping the jurisdiction of the Leon County Family Court, which officials were strategically using to illegally maneuver Alec Hash’s physical person into the custody of the State, whereupon they were going to transport him out of the State against his will.

After Alec Hash became married and emancipated he went to Georgia and refused to return to Florida.

Fred Jones, the attorney for Alec Hash at the time, contacted interested parties in Florida and advised that Alec Hash was sitting in his Georgia law office; was an emancipated adult; and would not be returning to Florida.

Elizabeth Willis, guardian ad litem, responded to Alec Hash’s flight by making a police report to the Leon County Sheriff’s Office, claiming she was supposed to personally transport Alec Hash out of state but could not reach him because he would not answer his phone, which she claimed he was supposed to do per a court order by Judge Karen Gievers (Alec Hash’s phone records show no record of the alleged call by Willis).

Willis’ (possibly false) police report resulted in a ‘Missing and Endangered’ status being placed on Alec Hash. His named was entered into the National Crime Information Center (NCIC), and ‘Missing Person’ flyers were published.

On March 19, 2014 the National Center for Missing and Endangered Children contacted the FDLE and instructed the agency to remove Alec Hash’s flyer from publication because he was not missing – but the FDLE ignored the instructions.

On the same day the FDLE was told to stop publishing the flyers, a mysterious person that called them self “Jackie Cannon” used Facebook to contact Alec Hash, claimed to be a teenager, and attempted to befriend him and lure him into law enforcement custody.

Public records obtained by Write Into Action reveal the law enforcement operatives  improperly publishing the ‘Missing Person’ flyers, and likely acting as ‘Jackie Cannon,’ were being guided by an attorney at the FDLE.

However – the FDLE attorney – James Martin – was also the attorney guiding the FDLE regarding Dr. Mark Hash’s lawsuit.

An email from Britt Thomas, Florida Attorney General’s office, to the FDLE agent that signed Dr. Hash’s arrest warrant, mentioned a communication between James Martin, Florida Department of Law Enforcement’s (FDLE), and Attorney Thomas, which is now shining a spotlight on the criminal network.

On April 4, 2013, Attorney Thomas, chief assistant attorney general, emailed (former) FDLE special agent Matt Sears. In the email, it is revealed that Attorney Thomas first requested documents from FDLE attorney James Martin, but was told by Attorney Martin he needed to talk to Sears.

“Hi Matt -- We have received the below attached Request for Production of documents from the Plaintiff counsel in the Hash case. In talking to Jim Martin at FDLE, he indicates some uncertainty regarding whether any documents responsive to Items 4-6 exist within FDLE. He suggested I inquire of you regarding that question, and if you think they do exist, where they might be located. If you have a chance, please give me a call at 414-3648,” Thomas said.

The facts, circumstances, and events that led up to Attorney Thomas’ April 4, 2013 email paint a picture of a law enforcement community conspiring to kidnap an innocent child for the express purpose of shutting down a lawsuit filed by the child’s father.

Others theorize that Dr. Hash’s lawsuit will eventually result in subpoenas, and the legal Discovery process will expose high level government officials involved in serious felonies.

Attorney Britt Thomas was contacted prior to this story being published but did not respond.

And – a year later - the bizarre obsession with Alec Hash continued.

DAVID records reveal that in March of 2014, Anna L. Berastegui, crime analyst, Miami Beach Police Department ran Alec Hash’s name. As was the case with the Adlinger request, Alec Hash has no criminal record and has no ties whatsoever to the Miami area (South Florida).

David De La Espriella, captain, Miami Beach Police Department, appeared on the DAVID search. He was contacted for comment but has not responded.

GOVERNOR RICK SCOTT AND ATTORNEY GENERAL PAM BONDI

Inspector General Melinda’s Miguel’s name on the First Impression’s client list has sparked outrage.

Melinda Miguel’s published bio reads in part:

Governor Rick Scott appointed Melinda Miguel as the Chief Inspector General for the Executive. Office of the Governor in February 2011, where she has responsibility for working with. Inspectors General in the State of Florida to coordinate accountability, integrity and efficiency in state government.

Alec Hash recently stated he believes Attorney General Pam Bondi refuses to intervene in the plot to kidnap him because it will lead to the Governor’s office.

“Bondi refuses to intervene in my plight and now we know why; there's the connection between Bondi (through [Assistant Attorney General Britt] Thomas) and FDLE [Attorney James] (Martin) and state employees, including an assistant AG, were obtaining controlled substances on my dad’s DEA license by fraud, Bondi knows it and doesn't want it exposed,” Alec Hash said.

Other high ranking officials that obtained pharmaceuticals on Dr. Hash’s DEA license without his knowledge by fraud include:

  • Jackie Fulford, Judge, Second Judicial Circuit of Florida, Tallahassee, FL 32311
  • David Francis (son of chief justice Francis), 809 Washington St, Tallahassee, FL 32303
